Silvervolt felt his insides go cold when the wolverine of loved ones being "just dead." He hadn't seen Starclan cats personally, but he knew others in his clan that had. He had felt the presence of Emeraldeye shortly after he had died. "Good luck in your quest...." Silvervolt trailed off. "And thank you!" he called as the wolverine carried the foxes off. He looked over at Heartbreaker, who was licking her leg. "Can you make it back to camp?" he asked, his eyes filled with concern as he sniffed her over.

Heartbreaker watched the two and still kept her eyes on her wound. She let her eyes trail off of her wound and looked up at her mate with her eyes full of pain. She was siltent for a bit and closed her eyes and tried to stand up. With feeling as if it was a moon just trying to get up and stand she made it. Her back leg was up in the air and she stood on three legs. She looked at Silvervolt with blood coming down her face at times from the cuts the foxes made.
She lipmed slowly up to him and mewed, "Can we go home yet.." Her legs were shaking and she just wanted to get out of here. Seeing two foxes and a wolverine was not what she would call a day.

"Of course" Silvervolt meowed. "We can take it slow. Just let me know if you need to stop and rest." he said, glancing over her wounds with concern. Silvervolt glanced curiously at Heartbreaker. "Why did you leave me this morning without telling me where you were going?" he asked, trying not to sound hurt.

Heartbreaker nodded to her mate as she limped next o him knowing if she did need a rest she wouldnt take one at all. She heard the question about her not telling her mate where she was going and sighed. "You needed your sleep dear and I didnt want to bug you. You seem so tired lately and I wanted you to sleep in. I wasnt going to be gone long honestly. I was coming right back when I ran into..." she then stopped and felt her leg kill when she was just aboutto say foxes. She closed her eyes and gave a growl of pain. Yet she kept on padding along.

Silvervolt licked her cheek. "You shouldn't have gone so far." he murmured in a worried voice. "Do you think you can make it back to camp? If you have to rest, I can go look for some cobwebs or go back to camp to get help." he meowed. He from her determined growl that she wouldn't admit she needed to stop on her own, but he didn't really expect she'd take him up on the offer either, even if it made it easier for her not to lose her pride.

Heartbreaker shook her head and felt his warm breath as he licked her cheek. She still limped along and tried not to think about her leg. She felt the blood drip down her leg and she looked back and saw she was leaving a trial. Her ears went back on her head and she looked forward and gave a sigh. Her legs shook and she wanted to stop and rest but she just wanted to get home. "Do you honestly want to leave me here?" she asked.

"Of course not!" he meowed fiercely. He he followed Heartbreaker's gaze along the blood trail and his eyes widened in fear. "Let me look for cobwebs." he meowed quickly. "There have to be some close by. I won't go far, I promise. Just call me if you need me." he gave her a quick lick on the cheek and limped off several foxlengths. Please Starclan, let me find some cobwebs. he thought to himself in determination. He stuck his nose under a few bushes, hoping desperately to find some of the sticky white threads that Heartbreaker needed so desperately to stop the bleeding from her wound. Finally, Silvervolt spotted a web between two small shrubs. He brightened up and carefully wrapped the thread around his paw and began to limp back towards Heartbreaker.

Heartbreaker gave him a light hiss and then calmed down when he did. She was in pain and she really didnt want to be mad at him right now. She listened and felt his kiss on her cheek and watched him go off. Her heart sank and she kept her ears forward and listened to anything that didnt seem right. It felt like forever and finally she saw her mate come back with cobweb. She saw him limping and mewed "You need to take care of yourelf dear..I'm worried about you.."

Silvervolt flashed her a look of determination. "I'll be alright, we just need to make it back to camp." he delicately pressed the cobwebs into her wound. Any other cat in Riverclan wouldn't have ever thought the prickly tom had a gentle side at all. "At least the foxes are off our territory now. That's one less thing to worry about." he meowed, trying to distract Heartbreaker while he padded her wound, hoping he wasn't hurting her. Her blood stained his paws as he stood up. "It's not far now." he meowed. "How does it feel?" he asked, looking at the wound.

Heartbreaker listened to him and watched him put the web on her wound and she gave a little deep breath as he pressed but tried to not make it ovbious. She then heard that the foxes were off their territory and she gave a little smile about it. "You saved my life Silvervolt, if it wasnt for you those foxes would have gotten to me..starclan knows where I would be right now.." she then stood up and still felt the pain but at least the bleeding stopped. "I just want to get home.." she mewed as she limped slowly to camp.
