"Ok, I'll find some for a sample to show you<" she meowed, then nodded absentmindedly to Silvervolt as she began to scent for herbs. The scent of juniper berry came form behind her, away from the river, among other scents. her ears twitched in worry when she scentedyew berry; but she'd find it later and warn the other cats to stay away from the bush. Right now her nose was drawn to the river bank, where the calm flowing water swirled and gurgled quietly, and clumps of tall reeds grew. She also scented water vole, but was immediatly running to a sweeter scent she caught on the breeze; it was one she remembered well, because Emeraldeye had told it to her. A swarm of bees was buzing about a hole almost halfway up the tree she stood beneath. Without a second thought she launched herself up the side, and carefully peeked into the hole, then drew her head back almost as quickly. Definately an active worker's nest. She made note of it's location, determined to come back when the bees would either be dead or in the ground, to harvest the honey. In a second she jumped from the tree again and went back to sniffing along the river, then pointed with her tail to tall golden clumps of horsetail, near the marshy portion of the water. She bit off a few, for example, and laid them down. "This is horsetail." She pointed to small groups clustered all over the portion of the ground and partly in the water with the tip of her tail, told them how much of it they could both gather, then went back to attacking her clump of the plant.

Silvervolt twitched his whiskers in amusement. "Honey is a precious commodity I hear. Bees aren't sharing today?" he asked.

She shook her head. "When winter falls I'll come out here to collect the queen jelly. it's very good for sick cats." She meowed this absentmindedly, thinking of Emeraldeye's words, and all the secret medicines he'd shown her. She missed her mentor terribly. The thoughts strayed through her mind as she gathered more horsetail, knowing if more battles came more wounds medicines would be needed. And with harash winter came thin, possibly sick prey, that may give cats bellyache. She'd have to remember to gather some more branches of juniper.

A sudden wind stirred, and a shimmering silhouette brushed against Creamcloud. Suddenly, Silvervolt cried out and jumped out of the way as the bees' nest came crashing to the ground. He gazed wide-eyed at Creamcloud, his eyes filled with questions. "What...?" he began stupidly.

Meowing thanks, Rockpaw began to carefully gather the horsetail, wrapping his jaws gingerly around it and pulling it from the ground. He watched with curiosity at the bee's nest, in awe of how busy it seemed. Offly he wondered what bees did for fun besides jab the hindquarters of unsuspecting cats. He set back to work, but paused when he felt the sudden gust, his jaw gaping as the nest came crashing to the ground. He could have sworn he caught a familiar scent on that gust, but... he shook the thought away before it could finish. It was an absurd notion, and impossible to boot.

Silvervolt could feel chills ripple under his pelt. "Maybe we should head back soon? It seems we've found about everything we've needed, hmm?" He asked, still gazing in puzzlement at the sky.

Silvervolt twitched his ears. "Do you hear something?" he asked nervously. He thought he could hear the sounds of cats caterwauling on the wind...

Heartbreaker padded up from behind him and gave a growl. "Only place your going is with me and by my side mr. I'll go off and not say where I'm going and leave heartbreaker to worry sick about you!" She then gave a glance at Rockpaw and Creamcloud a smile and looked to her mate and didnt look happy at all. She then shook her head and mumbeled, "Forget it...." She then padded away from Silvervolt and didnt look back at him.
