How easy it was to catch a kittypet. So trusting. So naive. So easy to manipulate. Especially for the likes of Ghostflight and Drowningspirit. With the abilities to read thoughts and mimic voices respectively, they made an effective team, and perhaps something more.
Ghostflight paced back and forth inside the makeshift den, the pale light making the white in her fur rather obvious. It looked rather like a moonlit stream running through dark earth. Her tail twitched. Her paws felt along the earth silently. Her eyes gave her the look of something feral and extremely dangerous. But she was pleased with herself at the moment. They had accomplished their goal. They had stolen the kits of Thunderclan, retaken the bloodline of Tigerstar. Of course, she had no idea that they also had the blood of Firestar in them.
A plump, blue tabby she-cat cowered as Ghostflight passed by her, but had the three kits at her side, suckling. Each one knew nothing of the world. Nothing of the clans, and nothing of their destiny. A destiny that could sway one way, or the other. Kits that could be heroes of the forest, or its darkest threat, a threat darker than Lostclan.
In them was the blood of those that had saved the forest. But also the blood that had tried to destroy it in the first place.
Ghostflight stopped at the entrance, and waited for Drowningspirit to return from hunting.

Drowningspirit padded in proudly, a vole and a mouse hanging from his jaws. He set them down carefully. "Take what you like, Ghostflight, the kittypet can have what's left." he said with a smile, his eyes glowing at the she-cat. He could imagine this being the future, the forest being theirs, and those mewling sounds from the back of the cave being his kits.

"You sure know how to charm a she-cat," she purred with laughter. She took the vole in her mouth, and tossed it to the frightened kittypet. She then began to eat the mouse, savoring its taste.
"Greenleaf is the best time for hunting," she said, approving of the fat mouse between her paws.
"So," she began after swallowing, "What shall our next move be? Shall we wave our victory under Jag's nose?" she purred in amusement.

Drowiningspirit grinned. "Forget him for now. We've proven to the clans that we're not to be triffled with. Word of our deed will travel like wildfire to Riverclan, Shadowclan, and Windclan." his optimism darkened to anger quickly. "If only we had the other two, we'd be so much more powerful. We need more cats to do more damage. Perhaps, we should take a visit to camp after all....it's up to you." he growled remorsefully that he would need those mangy self centered black cats.

"Jag can wait for the kits to grow some more. I want to be able to have them walk into camp. I can see his fur falling off from shock," she purred with laughter. Her face then turned grim.
"I hate that arrogant fool. Even Coal would make a better leader, and he's almost as arrogant as Jag himself..." she almost growled with her hatred for the Lostclan leader, combined with her distaste for her brother.

Drowningspirit nodded in silent agreement. "If only I were stronger, like my father, he would listen to me." he growled in a bout of insecurity.

"I think you're strong enough. Bloodeyes underestimated the Clans. He had no idea what he was getting into when he killed Pantherfang's brother. You know better. You were destined to lead the Four to greatness," Ghostflight came to be beside him, brushing her flank against his. Her eyes glinted.
"Besides, you have a tie to Lostclan. Me. Coal is my brother, and though I detest him, that may prove useful yet," she said, her tail twitching at the thought of her overconfident brother.
The kittypet had little idea what was going on, but she knew those two cats were up to nothing good. But what could she do about it? The only thing she could do was what Ghostflight told her. She gently licked one of the kits on top of the head as they curled beside her. The bell on her collar jingled lightly, and as the light flashed across her tag, the name Ginny stood out.

Drowningspirit adored her praise. It almost made him want to complain more, just to hear her counter it. But, that would be kit-like....wouldn't it? The tom blinked and nodded, thinking about Coal. "He has gained favor rather quickly in Lostclan...." he growled in jealousy and disapproval. "But what about the kittypet? Can we trust her to stay here if we leave?" he hissed in a whisper.

"He was blessed with cunning and charm. He has always been able to get what he wanted without a fuss," she sneered as she thought of it.
"I have never been as lucky as him. Coal was born lucky, and I was lucky to be born. I've had to struggle, and claw my way into what I am now. That is what makes me stronger than that sharp-tongued fool. If he ever says a word against me, I'll claw that tongue of his out," she hissed, her claws stretching out as she imagined the feel of taking a swipe against her brother.
"As for the kittypet..." she lowered her voice to a whisper. "Once the kits are grown enough to eat fresh-kill, there will be no more need of that miserable, stinking, fat clump of fur," she purred with the satisfaction of ending her.

Drowningspirit nodded. He could feel the intense hatred Ghostflight felt for Coal. He would like to be able to solve the problem for her, if only to keep her safe, but he knew better than to try to come between family problems. He could feel himself disliking Coal all the more intensely because of this. "That may be inconveniently long." he muttered in regards to the kittypet.

"All good things to those who wait," she purred. It would be well worht it. Jag would have no choice but to repect the Four now. It was they who would lead, not LostClan. The cats of LostClan were merely the pawns, the fighting force behind the real threat.

"What shall we do next? I would love to do more harm to Riverclan, but maybe if we show our strengths in Windclan or Shadowclan, it will help draw out the other Two we're missing..." he thought aloud.

Ghostflight nodded in agreement.
"ShadowClan or WindClan..." she thought out loud, her tail twitching back and forth. She finished off the mouse as she considered their options.
"Perhaps we should pay ShadowClan a visit?" she purred darkly.
Ginny wasn't paying attention anymore. She ate her vole quickly before Ghostflight changed her mind about letting her eat it. She licked the kits' heads gently as they slept beside her, curling her grey striped tail protectively around them.

Drowningspirit narrowed his eyes in thought. "I don't think there are too many kits in Shadowclan....but there is a cat that still lives that my parents have wanted revenge on for a long, long time. His name is Trueeyes." he hissed.

"Then why don't we pay him a visit?" Ghostflight purred, her black tail twitching with anticipation of digging her claws into one of Drowningspirit's enemies. She still remembered the battle, and how she had let Inkpaw live and had not injured him. She knew how much it would bother him that he'd been the only cat to come from the ThunderClan raid unharmed. She knew Inkpaw well enough to know how much guilt he would feel at that.
