Blackheart sat and watched the ducks on the water float by. Fowwowing them were five little ones. Her green eyes stayed on the ducks for a bit but then she moved then down to her paws. She curled her tail around her body and felt a cold breeze blow past her. Two birds flew over her and then rested on a branch and sat close together.
She couldnt help but give out a smile while she sat up and let out a sigh. New leaf was finally out of the way and Blackheart always loved new leaf. New biths, more food, better moods.. Maybe thats what she needed. It was time to head home.
Eclipsedstar must be worried sick about her as always when she left camp. She took her time going back and she stopped. Her heart pounded and she stood silently. She looked around slowly and something didnt feel right at all. She quickly turned her head to the sid thinking she had seen something move out of the corner of her eye.. but nothing was there.
She then heard a crack in the distance and she shot her head around and saw a huge badger not far from her lumbering away with its back towards Blackheart. She narrowed her eyes and her first thought.. follow it. Blackheart kept low to the ground and followed the badger making sure was down wind of the ugly animal. Yet she kept her pace steady and kept her eyes focused on it the whole way. She hid behind a bush but was still able to see it through the leaves. It came to a giant hole and started digging. Perking up her ears she heard little squeals and cries. Babies!
A family of badgers on Shadowclan land. Her claws dug into the ground and so badly she wanted to strike but she knew she wouldnt come out alive. Fighting a mother badger with her cubs around is not the smartest idea. She would not be able to do this alone. She still hung behind the bush and still watched.
