Name: Sunstar
Age: 17 Moons
Alliance: WindClan
Rank: Leader
Gender: She-cat
Picture:
Appearance: A lean and sleek Orange tabby, she has mostly ginger fur marked with darker stripes on her face, forelegs, and tail. Her belly is a soft cream color, and the same color splotches down her back, and onto her paws, giving her fur the likeness of flame, which is how she got her name, Sunstorm. Her eyes also contributed to her Warrior name, which were described as two pools of sunshine. She is swift and strong, with finely toned muscles showing through her brilliant pelt.
Personality: She is gentle with those of her own Clan, but does not necessarily see cats of other Clans as enemies. She especially has a soft-spot for kits. She is easy to get along with, but she can hold grudges if you anger her. A spitfire of sorts, she will lash out at insults to her friends, her leader, or her Clan. She is fierce when it comes to protecting what she holds dear, but among those is not a reputation. She can withstand insults to herself, but not to others. However, protecting her clan is her highest priority. She fights with resolve and poise, using strategy to fight rather than strength.
History: She does not have Warrior blood. In fact, she was the child of a Rogue cat named Belle, who died seeking shelter on Windclan territory. As the Code demanded, the Warrior who found the kit took her in, and she was adopted by one the the nursing Queen's, who named her Sunkit, for her orange pelt.
As she grew, it was discovered that she had the spirit of a Warrior, and thus became Sunpaw, an apprentice. She learned quickly, and became a Warrior in due course. After falling in love with the Windclan leader, Jaystar, she was named deputy of Windclan. Now she struggles with the desire to have kits, because now she wants them, but doesn’t want to betray her clan’s trust.
Currently, a battle has just concluded between Windlcan and Lostclan. Sunstorm is badly injured, having been tackled head on by Bear. But now the truth has been revealed. Coal is actually Sunstorm’s half brother, and now must decide what to do with this information. And, while no one knows, she silently grieves for her lost apprentice Foxpaw in the midst of her pain.
After the battle, she wearily made her way to the Moonpool to become leader, with Pantherfang as her loyal escort. Receiving her nine lives, and some rather grim warnings of her half brother, Sunstorm has now been heralded Sunstar, and has returned home to WindClan to choose deputy.
Roleplay Example:
The scents of Greenleaf swirled around her as the she-cat crouched low, in the cover of a bush. She was acutely aware that her pelt would be like a brand of flame against the green plants. She waited, perfectly balanced, ready to spring upon an unsuspecting vole.
Her golden eyes narrowed, and she took a slow, determined step, shifting her weight evenly. She brought the other paw up just as slowly, and then, sprang. The mouse-like rodent perked up, and made a move to dash away, but it was too late. She soon rose from the ground, the fresh-kill between her teeth.
She began to bury her prey, in order to come back for it later. Hunger pulled at her, but she knew better. The Clan must be fed first. It was one of the most enforced rules. She opened her mouth slightly, and breathed in, trying to pick up a scent, when the distinctive odor of another cat drifted through. Yet, it was neither Clan nor kittypet. It confused her, but it still seemed familiar somehow...
