General Character Information
[/b][/size]Name Crowfur
Age sixteen moons
Gender tom
Character Type cat
Alliance - thunderclan
Rank - warrior
Picture - i know the pieces fit 'cause i watched them tumble down,
no fault, none to blame
it doesn't mean i don't desire to
Appearance - crowfur is small. even though he is fifteen moons old, he has not grown larger than an average six moon new apprentice. he is often mistaken for an apprentice, or even a kit, whether it is at a gathering or a 'paw or 'kit in his own clan! his fur is almost silky looking. he is a jet black tom with not a single speck of other color on his pelt. he has piercing pale amber eyes. crowfur can give a glare that could make any warrior uneasy. he is also equipped with a small paws and a black nose. he has a long scar on the back of his left shoulder blade that snakes down to the end of his left blade (from a random border scuffle). crowfur's voice is...interesting. his voice is high pitched. not necessarily young sounding, but a bit irritating, yes. that also gives to his appearance of being at least an apprentice. and this cat sure can shriek (the second reason to why he was named after a crow. his voice and his pelt). less bulky and muscular than most thunderclan cats. in fact, he seems more fit and lean enough to be from windclan...
Personality - crowfur can be a timid cat, as long as you don't offend the tom. which that can be a hard thing not to do. so much as mention the word 'small' around him, and he will most likely verbally lash out. by himself the cat is calm and relaxed. in general the tom doesn't say much unless approached first. but so much as poke the tiniest bit of fun at him, and you've made an enemy for life. because of this it is hard for crowfur to make friends. he is quick to judge, and quick of the offense. this is one cat to not argue with. he wont back down. speaking of not backing down, he also will not back down from any type of battle, or problem for that matter. even though he is as tiny as an apprentice, he would face a warrior ten times his size if it was for the good of the clan. if it had to do with following the warrior code, crowfur would furiously defend it. unfortunately crowfur is one of those cat's who is a stickler for the code. to add on to that he is also the type to try and prove himself over and over again. when crowfur was an apprentice he was known to be a severe tattle tail. no one, then, and now, should ever run any of their shenanigans through crowfur, he will mention them to a superior even before you could say 'mouse'...or even attempt to stop it himself. following the warrior code himself isn't even enough for him. he expects every other thunderclan cat to do the same. he is so set on his ways that he will even dig deep into issues among the clan cats. needless to say, if crowfur finds an issue interesting enough, even if it seems to be a rumor, no cat's secrets are safe. not even his own.
History - his mother was a single mother who refused to release the name of her mate. honoring her wishes, no one pressed her on the topic. crowfur was born of a litter of three and he was easily pointed out as the smallest. he almost didn't survive. though after vigorous licking, he finally got his little lungs working.
crowkit was constantly pushed around. his size made most of the other kits take advantage of it, making him the weak one in his games, or not even letting him play at all. once he became crowpaw, not much changed...besides his personality. he gave up on trying to be nice and make friends. if a cat was rude to him, he'd be rude right back. and, to crowpaw, no apprentice should ever think of breaking the code! countless times crowpaw had to scamper to the deputy or event he leader to tattle on them. someone had to keep the apprentices in line once they were off duty. crowpaw never allowed himself to have much fun.
once he became crowfur, he became as detached as he could from those near his age. they would not give him a rest about his size. how he should still be a kit. or is a sad excuse for a warrior. he'd show them. in fact, he'd show everyone in all the clans. his ambition to be the next leader isn't widely known, but that will not stop crowfur from dreaming.
Roleplay Example - "And we have a new warrior as well- Crowfur!"
Cats from other Clans looked around, to find a new 'warrior sized' Thunderclan cat among the group. Some cats tilted there heads in confusion, whispering 'Where?'. Cat's who did know of Crowfur when he was a 'paw were even more confused. 'I thought he was a new apprentice?' 'Is he even old enough?' 'He's the size of a kit for StarClan's sake!'
Crowfur ducked his head down in embarrassment. The shame quickly boiled into anger. 'How dare they say this!' he thought, 'I am just as capable to be a warrior like any of them here!' He flicked his ears back and glared around the clearing. He lifted his head up. 'I might as well act as if though none of this bothers me.' He tried to sit as tall as possible. 'HA! Look at this little thing trying to make himself larger!' Snickered some RiverClan tom, loud enough for cats in earshot to hear. Most of them snickered along with him.
Crowfur hissed. That teared it. "Want to say that to my face?" His voice was even higher than normal, because he was reaching his boiling point. Though he had a voice that was usually as loud as it was irritating, he kept it quieter so the cats on the highrock did not notice. The RiverClan tom widened his eyes. "You're voice is even as high as a kit!" Crowfur flicked his tail back in forth. He wanted to strike, but there was no way in StarClan he would. Especially during the Gathering. For now, he would just have to sit down and take it. He just prayed that he would meet this tom in battle someday...
