Eclipsedstar sighed a nervous sigh and nodded. "Let's go."
(You could continue to the borders...(if we have any?) or just go right to Windclan...)
Trueeyes watched with interest as Eclipsedstar and Willowleaf left the camp together. He heard the leader call over to him, "Trueeyes, you and Timbermoon keep and eye on things while I'm gone...alright?" The tabby stood up and stretched with a yawn and a nod. He padded into the center of camp and sat down.

(We should just go straight to WindClan, I think.)
Willowleaf padded after her leader, already preparing her senses for danger even as they left the camp. They had to be prepared if LostClan decided to ambush them, or if WindClan was hostile towards them.
Timbermoon finished his vole quickly, padding over to stand by Trueeyes in the center of the camp. He limped only lightly, again trying to cover up his injuries. Greykit slunk cautiously up to Timbermoon, pressing her soft fur against his silver tabby pelt. She was still jumpy from the LostClan attack, clearly still recovering from Midnight's attack on her. He had singled her out and tried to crush her underneath his strong paws. Timbermoon wrapped his tail around her comfortingly.
"W-where's Rowancloud and Shadow?" Greykit's squeaky voice was little more than a whisper. Timbermoon gently licked the top of her head.
"They're out. Probably hunting or rechecking borders," his voice was a soft purr.
(Okay, so I've decided to bring her back. She's too darn cute to forget about. She should be apprenticed soon, along with Canyonkit...)

(Well, we definately have mentors available!)
Trueeyes sighed, glancing at Timbermoon. He and Eclipsedstar had both lost their apprentices in the fray. But, at least Torrentpaw would get to join Soulfang. She had always been like a mother to the young apprentice. So much suffering in her young life... Trueeyes sighed again.

Timbermoon felt the sadness ripple from Trueeyes, and soon realized his own eyes were clouding over with grief. Shadepaw, Torrentpaw, Fishpaw, Gladepaw, Dustpaw... the youth of ShadowClan, all slaughtered by the wickedness of LostClan. "I know how you feel, Trueeyes. None of them may have been an apprentice of mine, but know what it's like to lose one," he meowed quietly. He would always remember Snakepaw, who had slipped into the river and drowned, chasing a frog across the bank. She had been fickle and cunning, the purest traits of a ShadowClan she-cat. She would have made one of the finest warriors... [Just so you get a visual, this is what Snakepaw would look like- Note that I made her up on the spot. xD I have a notebook full of warriors names and descriptions. xD]

Trueeyes closed his eyes. He knew more than Timbermoon, about how the balance of the forest was disrupted, and potentially destined to ruin because of the loss of their apprentices. Besides losing the young cats themselves, it pained him to think that it may be Shadowclan that let the entire forest down.
There was another thought that plagued his mind, though he spoke to no one about it. Was it time now? Trueeyes looked to Timbermoon. "Go for a walk?" he asked. "We don't have to go too far out of camp..." he suggested, knowing that his clanmates were sure to be on edge after the recent attack.

Blazepaw began padding towards his mentor. He recoiled his paw when he stepped on a sharp rock. He lifted his left paw to reveal a black pad. He rushed off to his mentor, not checking for bleeding. He skidded to a hlat. "Timbermoon" he mewed.

Timbermoon shook his head. "Thanks for the offer, but I'd feel better staying here. 'Sides, Willowleaf won't want me doing any walking. My shoulder smarts as it is," he reluctantly pointed out his injury, his eyes flashing anxiously.
"Where's the fire, Blazepaw?" he meowed, but only a hint of amusement at his words twitched in his whiskers. He was too on edge to be amused by much.
"Something wrong?" he asked, eyeing his apprentice with concern.

Trueeyes sighed with a nod. His concerns would have to wait. Perhaps, he needed more time to mull them over anyways. He smiled as Blazepaw approached, one of Shadowclan's only youth, bright eyed and strong looking.

Blazepaw smiled. "I have the mark" he mewed. He lifted up his left paw to reveal the black pad.

"The mark?" Timbermoon echoed.
"And with Eclipsedstar and Willowleaf gone of all times..." Timbermoon's tail twitched. His own apprentice, one of the chosen? Was this a coincidence? Surely not. Either StarClan was giving him a chance at redemption, or setting him up to fall. He couldn't help but think of Snakepaw now that he saw this young apprentice, looking as proud as any warrior as his destiny was laid out before his paws.

(Cool pics, Flameh!)
Trueeyes jumped to his feet and observed the paw. "We have a chance after all! Thank Starclan! This is great news, Blazepaw! You will bring great honor to Shadowclan. We need to tell Eclipsedstar as soon as we can." he meowed excitedly. "But from now on, Blazepaw, you should make sure you have at least one warrior with you at all times. No leaving camp by yourself." he cautioned.
