Firetail padded gingerly out of the den so as not to wake Honeysquirrel. He yawned and stretched in the clearing, and then shook himself before he proceeded to walk up to Flamestar. He bowed his head to his leader as he addressed her, "Flamestar, what are we to do about Honeysquirrel's kits? I fear with Thunderclan having so few able-bodied warriors that we will have difficulty reclaiming them on our own. Perhaps, we should ask for aid?" he asked carefully, hoping not to offend her. Firetail didn't like asking help any more than the next cat, but Honeysquirrel's kits were more important than pride.

(Sunstar isn't the leader yet until Lostclan attacks Windclan. Currently, we are leaving Jaystar alive)
Magicheart's eyes widened in surprise. It was very rare for a clan leader to go into another camp without one or two warriors. "Are you sure that is wise, Flamestar?" the she-cat then bowed her head. "My appologies, Flamestar, I trust your judgment, but I worry for you. Especially with no deputy or medicine cat in camp." she added.

Magicheart shuddered. It reminded her of the old attacks. No matter what clan it was, she felt sympathy....but her mate and child were in Windclan as well....

Magicheart thought a moment, then shook her head. She was about to refuse, but then thought of seeing Phoenixpaw and Russettail. She had to know if they were alright. Especially since Windclan had just been attacked! At the same time, she wanted to make sure that Inkpaw and Starpaw would be safe. She nodded to Flamestar. "Yes, Flamestar, I will go with you to Windclan." she meowed. She quickly ran over to Firetail. "Please, keep them safe, Firetail. I don't want Flamestar to go out alone and well..." she trailed off. The other cats in camp were aware of Phoenixpaw going to live in Windclan.
"I understand." he meowed. "Thunderclan has lost enough. I won't let it lose anything else." he promised sternly.
Magicheart smiled her thanks and ran back over to her leader. "Ok, whenever you're ready." she said with a nod.

*guess whose back???  i know, i mised yall too ^.^* Honeysquirrel stirred in her dreams. Her ears twitched and she sneezed, awakening in confusion. "Where....where am i?" she turned around, disoriented. She'd slept so long...the kits....the kits! She let out a startled yowl of pain as memories flooded back to her. The thievery of her poor kittens, newly born, jsut named. She shook in fear and pain, trying to control her fright and sorrow. Tars slipped down to the tips of her whiskers and she cowered, quivering in her nest. Why were so many sorrows attacking the queens of Thunderclan? She felt her anguish and guilt flood through her. "I should have taken them to be raised by twolegs soon as I had the chance. They would have been safer..." she let out another yowl of misery and buried her face in her paws. She wanted to run and find them. Her eyes turned to the den. Shakily she stumbled to her paws, and fumbled her way out of the nursery into the clearing. |
